Lock of the Day: Demar Derozan F vs. Indiana Pacers - OVER 25.5 Points (-106)
Reasoning:
Derozan has been off to a historical start for the Bulls this season, scoring the most points in history for any Bulls player during their first 16 games. He’s currently fourth in the league in scoring with 26.8 per game, and he’s hit the line 4 of his past 5 games. Expect him to continue his scoring form against an average Indiana defense.
Jacob’s Pick: Kevin Durant F vs. Cleveland Cavaliers - OVER 1.5 3-Pointers Made (-204)
Reasoning:
Durant’s consistency is one of his best traits and it has helped make him one of the greatest shooters of all time. The star has been on a roll recently from beyond the three-point arc as he’s made at least two three-pointers in nine consecutive games. Expect Durant to once again nail two threes (or more) against a Cleveland team that is thin at forward with starter Evan Mobley out.
Anthony’s Pick: Kyle Kuzma F vs. Charlotte Hornets - OVER 7.5 Rebounds (-137)
Reasoning:
Kuzma seems to have found the right fit with the streaking Wizards, and is making the most of his opportunities on both sides of the ball. His rebounding has made the biggest jump this season, with him averaging a career-high 9.2 rebounds a game. He didn’t hit the line in the Wizards last meeting with the Hornets, but it was a lackluster night for most of the team. Expect Kuzma to recover and hit the line tonight, especially against a Hornets team that allows the third most rebounds to opponents per game.
