Lock of the Day: DeAndre Ayton vs. L.A. Clippers - OVER 17.5 Points (-114)
Reasoning: Ayton has been dominant in this series against the Clippers from the “Valley Oop” to his recent 19-point 22-rebound game. In what can be a series-clinching game for the Suns, I expect Ayton to play upwards of 35 minutes and have many opportunities to score against an Ivica Zubac who came into Monday listed as questionable with a sprained MCL. On the series, Ayton is averaging 20.3 points and has recorded at least 18 points in the last four games.
Parlay of the Day: Deandre Ayton O/17.5 Points + Terrance Mann O/11.5 Points + Mikal Bridges O/4.5 Rebounds + Cameron Johnson O/3.5 Rebounds
Odds: +1500 ($100 to win $1,500)
Reasonings:
Deandre Ayton O/17.5 Points - See above for reasoning
Terrance Mann O/11.5 Points - After his 39 point explosion to close out the last series Mann has been quieter on the scoring front. Still, he’s hit the line the last 2 and will need to step up for the Clippers to stay in the series.
Mikal Bridges O/4.5 Rebounds - Bridges was dominant on the boards in Game 4 grabbing 13. It’s unlikely that he’ll replicate that performance, but he’s shown consistency this series hitting the line in the last 3 games.
Cameron Johnson O/3.5 Rebounds - Johnson has been a small but consistent contributor with his rebounding this series. He’s averaged 4 rebounds a game this series, and sees guaranteed minutes as one of the Suns’ leading bench players.
