Lock of the Day: Nikola Jokic vs. Portland Trailblazers - Over 32.5 Points (-105)

Reasoning:

The MVP-frontrunner is already having an insane season, and the Trail Blazers have yet to prove that they can actually stop the big man. Jokic has started the series on fire hitting his scoring line with ease posting 34, 38, and 36 points. Even in Games 1 and 2, which were lopsided victories, Jokic got over his scoring line of 33. Expect another great performance as Denver tries to take a decisive lead in the series

Jacob’s Pick: Bradley Beal vs. Philadelphia 76ers - OVER 31.5 Points (-120)

Reasoning:

Beal has been carrying the Wizards with his scoring all season. This is a critical point in the series for the Wizards, and with Westbrook potentially out with an injury Beal will need to step up and produce for his team on the brink of getting swept. The star dropped 33 points against the 76ers in Games 1 and 2, and averaged 36.7 against the 76ers in their three regular season matchups. With Westbrook off the court Beal has averaged a terrific 7.6 more points per game, so if Westbrook sits I definitely expect this bet to be even more of a lock.

Anthony’s Pick: Ja Morant vs. Utah Jazz - OVER 26.5 Points (+110)

Reasoning:

Morant was dominant in the play-in games leading up to the playoffs, and that has continued into this playoff series. In Game 1 he scored 26, and in Game 2 he scored a franchise record 47 points. During the regular season Utah had similar troubles allowing 2 30-plus point performances from Morant. Utah hasn’t been able to stop Morant up until this point, and I expect nothing different as Memphis tries to defend home court in a crucial Game 3.
