Lock of the Day: Goran Dragic vs. Milwaukee Bucks - Over 16.5 Points (-130)

Reasoning:

Dragic’s been one of the most consistent scorers against Milwaukee all season for his team. He’s gotten over 17 points in four of their five matchups including in the postseason. In Game 2, even after only playing 24 minutes he was able to score 18 points in a blowout. In a significant Game 3 at home for Miami the Heat will need scorers, especially off the bench, so expect the guard to get at least 17 points.

Jacob’s Pick: Damian Lillard vs. Denver Nuggets - OVER 8.5 Assists (-114)

Reasoning:

Lillard has been a stud assisting the ball against Denver all season and especially in this first round matchup. On the season the guard is dishing out 9.3 assists a game against the Nuggets. In Games 1 and 2 Lillard posted insane scoring nights with 42 and 34 point performances, so expect Denver to focus on slowing down Lillard’s scoring ability and force him to pass the ball, where he can then get his assists. This game should be close and high-scoring like the first 2, so the 30-year-old will likely get over his assists line once again.

Anthony’s Pick: Khris Middleton vs. Miami Heat - OVER 20.5 Points (-108)

Reasoning:

Miami has struggled to stop Middleton all season long. He’s scored over the line in 2 of their 3 meetings in the regular season, and has been in similar form to start the playoffs. He hit the game clinching shot in a 28 point performance in Game 1. In Game 2 he only scored 17, but did so playing 24 minutes shooting 4-5 from the field. Miami will be looking to bounce back in their first home game of the series, and will have to make the game competitive to have a chance of making it to the next round. A competitive game will ensure Middelton seeing similar minutes to the first game, and should see him hit his line comfortably.
