Lock of the Day: Doug McDermott vs. Charlotte Hornets - OVER 14.5 Points (-110)
Reasoning:
With Caris LeVert out for Tuesday’s game, and Domantas Sabonis and Malcolm Brogdon’s statuses both in question, it’s very likely that McDermott will have a larger role offensively for the Pacers. The forward has been playing well recently, scoring over 15 points in each of his team’s last 4 games. McDermott also had arguably one of his best games of the season against the Hornets where he dropped a season-high 28 points. Expect another solid performance especially if Sabonis and Brogdon are unable to play.
Jacob’s Pick: Bradley Beal vs. Boston Celtics - OVER 29.5 Points (-175)
Reasoning:
Beal has had a phenomenal year against the Celtics so far this season, posting 46 points, 35 points, and 41 points in the three contests. Although this is his second game back from a hamstring injury that forced him to miss three games, Beal logged 35 minutes and scored 25 points in his first game back against the Hornets. In another must-win game for the Wizards expect the guard to be on his game and record yet another high-scoring performance.
Anthony’s Pick: Evan Fournier vs. Washington Wizards - OVER 3.5 Assists (+117)
Reasoning:
Fournier showed great playmaking ability during the final stretch of the season and could be primed for another solid showing tonight. In the last 7 games of the season, he’s averaged 4.7 assists and has been more involved in the offense following Jaylon Brown’s season-ending injury. Regardless of the result, Fournier will have to be a major factor in this game for the Celtics to stand a chance.
