Lock of the Day: Kendrick Nunn G vs. Boston Celtics - OVER 1.5 3-pointers made (-156)
Reasoning:
Nunn has steadily recovered from a shooting slump in March. He shot 41.2% from 3-point range in April, and has hit at least 2 3-pointers in 4 of his 5 games this month. They face the 23rd best 3-point defense in Boston tonight, a team that has dealt with injuries and inconsistency all season long. In their last game against each other Nunn hit 2 3-pointers on 6 attempts, so expect Nunn to have a similar if not better performance.
Jacob’s Pick: Evan Fournier G vs. Miami Heat - OVER 16.5 Points (-114)
Reasoning:
Fournier is finally starting to get into a groove with his new team, shooting over 66% from the field over his last four games while also averaging 21.5 points per game during that stretch. With Jaylen Brown now done for the season Fournier’s role with the team will only grow larger as he’ll be forced to play more minutes and take more shots. In his two games against the Heat this season, Fournier has posted 25 points and 30 points, so he should be able to get well over his point line for Tuesday’s game.
Anthony’s Pick: Coby White G vs. Brooklyn - OVER 2.5 3-pointers made (-106)
Reasoning:
White has had his best scoring run of the season over the past several weeks. He’s hit at least 2 3-pointers in 11 of his last 12 games, and has hit at least 3 in his last 4. Going against one of the worst defenses in the league, look for White to continue with his strong run of shooting form.
