Player Prop of the Night: Tampa Bay Over 30.5 Total Team Points (-120) at Eagles
Reasoning: The Buccaneers have been on an offensive tear this season as Tom Brady has only grown more comfortable with his new team. Tampa Bay has scored at least 31 points in three of their five games this season. Expect Brady and co to dismantle the Eagles’ defense that let up 42 points to the Chiefs, who also have a high-powered offense.
Anthony’s Pick:Tom Brady to complete 27 or more completions (-114) at Eagles
Reasoning: Even at age 44 Brady has yet to show any significant change to the number of passes his arms can sustain. He’s averaged 29.8 completions per game so far this season, and has hit the line in 3 of his 5 games. In what we’re expecting to be a high scoring contest, Brady should hit over 27 completions once again.
Jacobs’s Pick: Jalen Hurts to rush for over 46 rushing yards (-114) vs. Buccaneers
Reasoning: Hurts has solidified himself as one of the league’s top dual-threat quarterbacks this season, rushing the ball for at least seven carries in each game this season. The former Oklahoma star has run for at least 46 yards in three of the Eagles’ five games this season. Expect Thursday’s game to be in Tampa Bay’s favor, which could mean more passing opportunities for Hurts, leading to more chances for the young quarterback to scramble.
